Support our Youth

There will be a car wash on Saturday, June 24, 2006 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Rowe's Men Shop in Louisburg. Please come out and support our youth. The proceeds raised will help pay for them to attend camp this summer.

Parenting Meeting Rescheduled

Due to an unexpected (but worth it) interruption last Sunday night we had to reschedule our parenting meeting. It is rescheduled for Tuesday June 13th and 7:00PM we were just getting going when we had to stop. PLEASE! this is an excellent time to invite other parents or grandparents to attend. It is better to be equipped for trials before they come. And Never Never Never think that it is too late or that you or your children don't need it.

Childcare will be provided for the little ones.

We are over half way there!

We are over halfway there to having 6 months of funding for the Upper Room Ministry Center! Praise God and thank you all who have given to make this vision a reality. We are not there yet so please remember to ask those you know, businesses as well as individuals who may wish to sow into the young people in our community. They make make checks payable to Upper Room Ministries and drop them off at Liberty or mail them to 7818 NC 39 Hwy S Henderson, NC 27537
If you need an information packet, you may pick one up at the church or call the pastor and he will make sure you get one.

Vacation Bible School

Don't forget folks. VBS is scheduled for June 15-17 Don't forget to sign up your children or grandchildren. tell your friends and neighbors!

Upper Room Meeting!

Anyone interested in helping paint and decorate the Upper Room Ministry Center please attend a short meeting Saturday 6/10 at 10Am. We are going to discuss what we will do, when and how. Paint color etc. Please come and bring your ideas!

The Upper Room is on it's way!

We have gotten the inspections report, the bank account is open, and we have begun raising support for Liberty's new community outreach center! The name the youth have chosen will be "The Upper Room" If you know anyone interested in helping us raise support for this much needed ministry, please have them make their checks out to "Upper Room Ministries" and send them to the church: 7818 NC 39 Hwy S. Youth Parent Dinner!!

This Sunday, 6/4 at 6PM we will be holding a youth (all ages) & parent dinner. After we eat, the children will move and get to know some of our seniors adults who are willing to share what it was like 40-50 and 60 years ago as a youth. Discipline, work, temptations, school etc. (I know, walk to school up hill both ways!)
Pastor Bob will at the same time meet with the parents to discuss parenting issues, discipline, raising Godly children in an ungodly world, dating, direction, keeping your kids on the right track etc as well as allow time for group discussion and questions.
With all the temptations our children are faced with, don't wait until it's too late to learn!
Remember, all ages are welcome. Childcare will be available for the little ones!

If you know anyone with children whether or not they attend Liberty, invite them to this event!
