Upper Room Meetiing

We will be having a meeting of the Upper Room on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Upper Room. If you are interested or would like to be involved please plan on being there so you can make your voice heard. All ideas are welcome.

Hallejuah Night

Saturday, October 28, 2006 we will be having Hallejuah Night at the Upper Room. Festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. with a hot dog supper at 6:00 p.m. Games, hayrides, prizes, food and fun. Trunk or Treat will begin at 8:30. Costumes can NOT be scary or satanic. We want to keep it fun for all. Join us for a night of fun.

Homecoming

Sunday, October 29, 2006 is Homecoming at Liberty. Giving the message will be Rev. Robert Stainback from Winchester, Virginia. Bring all your friends and family and join us for a day full of food, fun and fellowship.

Hurricane Raffle

The Upper Room will be raffling off 4 tickets to the Hurricanes VS Pittsburg Hockey Game.
Seats are in section 314 and the game begins at 7:00 PM
Raffle tickets are $1.00 each and the drawing will be held 6:30 Sunday night November 5th at the Upper Room. Winner need not be present to win.

Pool Tourney Winner

Even without his cheer leaders Pastor Bob becomes Pool Tournament Winner. Congratulations goes out to Pastor Bob. Job well done.

Exercise Instructor Wanted

There is an interest for us to hold an aerobics class once a week so some of the folks can get and stay in shape however we need someone to head the class up. No experience necessary, just set the dates, open the doors and play the Video.
If you would like to head this up, please give Pastor Bob a call. 438-6880

POOL TOURNEY

Don't forget to sign up NOW to play in the pool tourney on the 20th 7:00 p.m. There is a $20.00 entry fee. Cash prize awarded. Will Pastor Bob have bragging rights for the pool tourney, also? Come find out if he will have his cheerleaders again.

Horseshoe Tournament

The 1st annual Upper Room Horseshoe Tournament was a huge success. 13 men were entered into the tourney but only 1 Yankee prevailed with a little help from above. Our own Pastor Bob has ALL the bragging rights. He did have his own cheering squad, had to be an ego booster. Congratulations go out to Pastor Bob.

Couple's Restreat Cancellation

Unfortunately the retreat "Against all Odds" has been cancelled. Please call and cancel your reservations for yourself or you can keep them and enjoy a weekend at Myrtle Beach. Plans for the spring retreat will be announced at a later date.
